Well, it’s official, the new RateMyStudentRental blog has been launched into orbit around the blogosphere. Three months after launching our site and providing students with an outlet to rant about their rentals, we’ve finally launched our platform with which to rant (well, sort of). Stay tuned for our thoughts on the latest trends in student living and funny stories from the college underground, and watch as we make that oh-so awkward transition from fun-loving college students to fun-starved business peeps (NEVER!).
Until then, don’t get screwed! (unless it’s on your terms)

Hi,
I’d like you to tell me what else I need to do to my house so I can rent it out to students. I’ve lived here for 15 years, redid whole inside last summer.
- 2 story cape cod; all hardwood fl, w/ full basement, fenced yard, mature pines all the way around house; full front porch with more pines, very private and on hill.
-2 car grg (very private, must go through alley to get to driveway & garage, very difficult to find this place; very “under the radar”)
-upstairs is a full-size loft with sink/toilet (but no shower); big enough for 2/3 people.
- 1st fl has 2 nice size bedrm, huge livingrm, decent size dnrm, med/sm kitch;and full bath; all appliances & CENTRAL AIR! Cable is in every room!!!
- Basement could actually be an apartment (my sister used to live in it); it has huge finished bedroom (with drumset—-we’re all musicians); deep freezer, washer/dryer/ fridge, stove, kitchen sink, and shower (but no toilet). Oh, and a tornado shelter/pantry/or coal shoot, whatever you want to do with that room. House is 5 min from Kettering.
thx,
tish

Haha, unless it’s on your terms… nice.
FYI, the font labeling the fields on this page is black, as is the background.
